Music| #MondayMuse via @Youtube feat. @JheneAiko @KeyGlock @RiniDawg @IllZeeWill & more

#MondayMuse is here to give you the latest list of Music Videos that recently released by some of today’s leading talents and a few up and coming acts. On this edition of #MondayMuse we feature some fresh new R&B, Hip-Hop/Trap and more. Names that adorn this weeks list are the angelic Jhene Aiko with her recent sultry single “P*$$y Fairy“, which we followed up with a trap singer by the name Rod Wave‘s latest visual for his momentum heavy record “Thug Motivation“. Another R&B sensation is a UK-based talent by the name Rini with his most recent single “My Favorite Clothes”. Moving away from the R&b section is some exciting and enticing Hip-Hop records from artist like Key Glock who showcases his hard-hitting sound on his release of “Mr.Glock“. Accompanying this is Brooklyn based rapper Sheff G with his community inspired record “8th Block“.

Our New Talent discovery is an LA-based rapper/singer Zee Will. The high energy lyricist and melody maker has resurfaced in 2020 with a strong single and trance-infused visual. The Daniel Ramos directed visual for Zee Will’s “Quicksand” which was produced by Kasino Kam, is a cajoling cinematic feature that catches Zee Will in his LA habitat. The song speaks on the rise out of struggle an how the path Zee has chosen is a Sink or Swim journey. He seems to have made the choice to stay above the water.

• To start the week off right we try and find great music to help you through your Monday’s. Today’s starts off is the official music video from comedian/writer turn rapper/singer Childish Gambino also known as Donald Glover. He delivers a visual from an amazing track off his album Because of the Internet, dubbed “Telegraph Ave. (“Oakland” by Llyod). He reaches out to a great friend, the gorgeous Jhene Aiko for the feature and of course her beauty makes this visual all that better. Shot at a beautifully remote island, the visuals are the backdrop for the music video. Below, make sure to watch the video until the end to see how the story unravels in paradise. Enjoy!

Music |Watch Jhené Aiko in “Behind The Seen” Documentary

• Having just released her debut album, Souled Out, Los Angeles singer-songwriter Jhené Aiko has decided to reveal the preparation and work that lead to the final record. Behind The Seen is a short documentary which gives an insight into Jhené Aiko’s life, and let’s her explain a little more about the inspirations behind her debut. Although she’s been picked up by the likes of Drake for cameo appearances on his tracks, Aiko has laid relatively low while working on the content for Souled Out. With her album only just out, it’s hard to say what’s in store for the musician but if this 15-minute short is anything to go by it would seem the rest of her music output is due to be as genuine and heartfelt as what she’s put out thus far.

Music| Watch the Official Music Video for The Weeknd’s “King of the Fall”

• Exactly one week after the release of his NSFW video for “Often,” Toronto’s The Weeknd continues his visual onslaught with the second new music video this month. Dressed in his favorite pieces from the Supreme x The North Face Spring/Summer 2014 collection, “King of the Fall” sees Abel taking a stroll through his hometown, visiting random hot spots and exclusive night clubs along the way. Clearly The Weeknd has just revived himself from an explicit fun, the XO singer strolls through the streets of downtown Toronto until nightfall, ending up at an underground party surrounding by hot women and his tight-knit crew.  Fellow Canadian rapper Belly, aka Dablo Escobar, also makes an appearance in the melancholy clip. Beginning September 19 in Brooklyn, The Weeknd will be hitting the road for his King of the Fall tour with Jhené Aiko and ScHoolboy Q.

Music| Watch the Official Music Video for The Weeknd’s “Often”

• With his King of the Fall tour with ScHoolboy Q and Jhené Aiko less than a month away, The Weeknd just released the official music video for his summer single, “Often.” Abel Tesfaye sets the provocative mood in the dark and mysterious video, staring dispassionately while disregarding the beautiful and half-naked women who peruse throughout his stylish hotel room. As the camera whirls around the Canadian crooner, the video seemingly jumps randomly through time as if to elude to the side effects of the many sleepless nights one experiences while on tour. Speaking of which, check out The Weeknd’s upcoming tour dates below.

Lifestyle|Jhene Aiko Goes Topless for ‘GQ’ May 2014

•As an avid reader of countless magazines, GQ is one of the more picked up of the bevy. When glancing at the preview for May 2014 issue and graced with the beauty of R&B’s angel Jhene Aiko, this put GQ in the #1 spot. Ms.Aiko has been very busy lately, with features on many HipHop tracks in the music industry accompaning artist like Drake, Big Sean, Pusha T, and Childish Gambino. When she is not being the angelic vocals for your favorite summer singles, she is obviously giving photographers her best infront of the lens. The May issue of the magazine shows Jhene stripped down to everything but her underweer, showing she is as truely beautiful as she sounds. Her Instagram shows this regularly, but to catch her alongside an amazing beach front view and with such grace is worth seeking Next Months issue out and giving it a gander. You can read it too.  See the full editorial in the new GQ magazine, when it hits newsstands later this month.
