Over the weekend Rafael Grampá collaborated with Vodka Brand Absolut to present “#NEXTFRAME by Absolut” event that was held on Friday, March 14 at the MADE by Absolut space in Berlin. In addition to the world premier of “Dark Noir,” the event included live music, art and, of course, an open bar.
Just To recap, Absolut wanted to give Grampá the chance to transform his craft from 2D sketches into 3D animated characters, by giving him the opportunity to assume the role of director for the first time. The intriguing project invited fans to propose story development ideas on the Absolut Facebook page, with the artist personally selecting his favorites and incorporating them into an animated film. The resulting film was seen in Berlin for the first time before being made available online to the general public.
