Art|Christie’s “If I Live I’ll See You Tuesday” Contemporary Art Auction

• On May 12th, live at the renown art auction house Christie’s, will hold a contemporary art auction with some amazing pieces for all art enthusiast. Created was a short film featuring New York skateboarder Christopher Martin who toured the facility doing kick flips and ally’s. The title  “If I Live I’ll See You Tuesday” is given after a work by Richard Prince featuring the same phrase. Some of the included works are by Jean-Michel Basquiat, John Currin, Wade Guyton and Christopher Wool, among many others. Mark Grotjahn’s Untitled (In and Out of the Darkness Face 43.01), Jeff Koons’s Two Ball Total Equilibrium Tank (Spalding Dr. J Silver Series), Richard Prince’s Untitled (Cowboy) and Andy Warhol’s Little Electric Chair are just a few of the highlights from the upcoming sale. The well captured video playing AWOLNATION’s “Sail” plays in the background. The auction begins on May 12 at 6:00 p.m. at Christie’s Saleroom.
