• Online based brand and designers of minimalist leather goods Oppermann is elated to announce their most recent venture has come to fruition in the form of a concept venue. Oppermann’s new concept bridges the gap between online and offline shopping. For the month of May , Oppermann has transformed a retail unit in Old Street Station, London into an interactive window display. Aiming to change the game of online shopping, Oppermann takes the opportunity to expose the many uses of technology in their display dubbed “The Shopping Window“. This shopping window is no ordinary display window, but is equipped with a select pieces from the Oppermann collection and are accompanied with QR codes which direct viewers to its respective product page on the Oppermann website. Innovative enough, Oppermann takes a step further by providing details of the product, chat access to a team member online, and a order placement station all on the phone.
“We constantly strive to challenge the status quo, and are excited to bring a new shopping experience to the market. With The Shopping Window, I think we have found a great way to extend what an online store can be.” – Mattis Oppermann
Located in Old Street Station, The Shopping Window is an opportunity to present the brand to thousands of daily commuters; a vibrant mix of people working in the City, in the technology and the creative industries around Old Street. The station has over the last year been renovated and redesigned into an innovative retail destination by short term letting agent Appear Here.
