Cars| Toyota Gazoo Racing Debuts New Hydrogen-Powered Racer Concept at Le Mans

Toyota Gazoo Racing has removed the veil from their latest project, the GR LH2 Racing Concept, is a liquid hydrogen-powered test car dedicated to the next steps in the journey for Toyota.

Showcased at the renowned 93rd 24 Hours of Le Mans taking place at the H2 Village, this design was a build of years by the Japan based automaker. The GR LH2 pays homage to the GR010 HYBRID Hypercar that competes in the FIA World Endurance Championship. This display showcases years of effort similar to the hydrogen-engine Corolla in the Super Taikyu series. Highlighted components of the concept include a liquid hydrogen fuel system meant to accelerate the fuel search innovation across the hydrogen value chain.

Track testing will follow, helping Toyota refine its hydrogen systems and strengthen partnerships that support a zero-emissions future in racing and beyond. Stay tuned for more updates.
