Mulan-based fashion & footwear powerhouse Off-White™ has garnered a household name with much contribution provided by Creative Director & Owner Virgil Abloh. As a significant staple for high-end streetwear, Off-White has journeyed into sartorial path with their latest offering.
Off-White presents their Tassel Loafers with an enticing Marble finish on the heel of the shoe. Virgil allowed this formal look to be previewed in their Pre-Fall 2020 collection that still maintained the streetwear style we have grown use to. While the upper is smart and fittingly formal, the rubber heel has been given a marble effect and even the tassels on the top are stitched with yellow thread.
Additional features significant in this pair of Off-White™-exclusive is the green “A” tab on the lateral hind-side, as well as the yellow insoles that feature the signature cross logo on them. Finishing this release off is a patch of suede gracing the heel of each foot, and a final addition of branding on the outsole.

Shigeyuki Kunii, is the creative director and ingenious mind at mita sneakers who has recently finalized a collaboration design onASICS GEL-LYTE III OG’s. This silhouette has a history that stems from three decades ago when they were originally released in 1990 as a prime running shoe but then turned into an iconic street-style fashion choice. Every now and then, the shoe releases with a unique twist on the design and Kunii shared his behind-the-scenes take on the design of the shoe and working with the original designer of GEL-LYTE III, Shigeyuki Mitsui.
According to Kunii, the original purpose behind the collaboration was simply to make a way to get the classic silhouette to Japan. He gives insight by stating:
Initially the GEL-LYTE III model was not being sold in Japan at the time. I had always requested ASICS to release it domestically, but ASICS didn’t give us the go … The company didn’t want to confuse consumers with the comeback of performance shoes from the past. So, when ASICS said yes [to the collaboration], it was a rather unforgettable moment for me.
This gave ASICS the opportunity to introduce this renown running shoe to the country as more of a streetwear fashion choice.
The details for this collaboration are significant and symbolic in many ways. First, the tri-color concept derives from the roots of Ueno, which Shigeyuki refers to as “our downtown home base in eastern Tokyo.” To provide a more historic ode, is the flushed red toe box & base colorway which respected traditional Japanese shades from ancient times. Ultimately, the design is a perfect infusion of two creative minds: Kunii and Shigeyuki Mitsui, the creator of the GEL-LYTE III OG. Kunii finishes by stating:
its fundamentals as a sneaker are flawless, the potential is really high and the split-tongue design symbolizes such bold uniqueness. It is such a great honor and a novel experience for me to be able to create something with a designer who never hesitates to express himself
The mita sneakers x ASICS GEL-LYTE III will release in each country at selected retailers and on the brand’s website after January 23 for $180 USD/€180 EURO.

Smack dab in the heart of Downtown Philly, is the medium sized boutique hosting all of Ethik’s top designs and pieces. The underground streetwear brand has patiently waited to find the ideal location as they have been collaborating, supporting and promoting the many partners and friends from the Philly area. Now as a true resident of Philly, the clothing brand has made a statement about consistency and hard-work as we witness this brand establish and identity in a city full of big names. Located directly across from Adidas and stationed in-between American restaurant’s Johnny Rockets and Fat Tuesday’s at the heart of South Street, the store has many of reasons to stop by. This decision was soon to come as Ethik has been hosting a year long pop-up shop that was located further up the block. Now with their own address, the brand debuts some highlighted articles as well as some unseen pieces for fans to enjoy. Besides supplying their own products, the flag-ship location also supports brands such as POW!! Skateboards. Kobra Cans, Junobo Mops, and local skate hardware companies.
Large swathes of the wall are covered with mahogany wood, built in shelving with a permitter of lighting to illuminate the racks. Like our NYC store a 5 foot custom logo was hand crafted to be placed on the back wall, also illuminated from the back with LED lighting. The top walls are decorated with the works of famed East Coast Street Artists.
