Paris Fashion Week Had A Ton of Collection Releases & Givenchy was One of Our Favorites. Most recently announcing his upcoming collaboration with Nike, Riccardo Tisci was completely inspired by sports for the Givenchy Fall/Winter 2014 collection. The designer took strong inspiration from basketball, incorporating the sport’s court lines as graphics emblazoned across sweaters, button-up shirts and pants. He was very clever by designing cuffs resembling sweatbands, orange, brown, and black leathers reflected the basketball and even a netted shirt carried the design over perfectly. Even Using classic basketball sneaker, with silhouettes being quite rounded like a game ball. Givenchy’s presentation in Paris would remind you of Rucker Park Basketball court in New York and even had models wearing nets over their heads.
