~ Achetechual Photographer Marc Gerritsen, presents The Naked House, a home he designed for himself in the beautiful Koh Samui, Thailand. The surrounding of the hectic lifestyle of Taipei did not stop Gerritsen from creating a home located in the quiet area with one of the best views to offer. Over three stories, the home includes two bedrooms on the bottom; the pool, living area and kitchen on the middle level; and an office on top, with the later addition of a bathroom, laundry room and pantry on the living room level. The addition of a freestyle open air bathroom to the top level made itself the Master bathroom and required an en-suite, while the tank and plant room became a large open room with a swing bed. Under the deck lies a steam room and the space below the bedrooms have been transformed into an office and maid’s room. What started at three stories turned into five and still consdered a work in progress.
