• Starting in the gay and lesbian magazine Out, which has adopted Power for the theme of their May issue, who better to take the cover page than the most powerful woman in the music industry, Ms. Beyoncé Knowles. The singer sidestepped any traditional marketing tactics late last year with the surprise release of her self-titled fifth studio album, proving her own success is stronger than any marketing machine. As part of the release of the issue Beyoncé also took over the Out website yesterday, giving followers a chance to hear exclusive remixes and never-seen-before photos. The editorial was shot by Santiago & Mauricio, and you can see the full spread by picking up the issue when it hits newsstands on April 22.
