• Director David Fincher releases a trailer for an adaptation of Gillian Flynn’s best- selling novel Gone Girl and stars Ben Affleck as a man whose wife goes missing on their fifth wedding anniversary and evidence points to him as a prime suspect. Similar to the book, nothing appears as it seems (and supposedly Fincher has employed a new ending). The mysterious trailer uses Elvis Costello’s “She” as a musical backdrop and perfectly captures the mysterious nature of the book. Gone Girl opens on October 3 and also stars Rosamund Pike, Tyler Perry, Neil Patrick Harris, Missi Pyle, Patrick Fugit, Casey Wilson and Emily Ratajkowski.
