Lifestyle|Apple’s Plan to Acquire Beats Electronics for 3.2 Billion USD

• So last night the big news/rumor of Apple, the biggest electronic technology comp-anise known to man, has given out plan to acquire Beats Electronics. Beats by Dr.Dre is the ever so popular headphones brand that every teenager is having their parents invest near $300 USD a pair for. In addition to the headphone phenomenon, Beat Electronics has recently released music streaming service that allows old and new songs to be accessed. This combination of genius that Producers Dr.Dre and Jimmy Iovine, have developed seemed very interesting to Apple’s CEO Tim Cook.

This proves to be a shocking announcement – both for the price tag as in the past the company was valued at $1 billion after Beats took a $500 million dollar investment from Carlyle in September 2013 – and for Tim Cook’s plan for a high-profile acquisition that differs from that of the late Steve Jobs. According to CNBC, “Apple executives have admitted that its brand is in need of a revamp. Internal emails released during its recent patent trial with Samsung showed that its marketing chief Phil Schiller considered changing Apple’s ad agency after the success of its Korean rival’s ‘next big thing’ campaign.

The Question Still remains as to WHY DOES APPLE WANT BEATS BY DRE!? What Do You Think?
