• Continuing our weekly segment of researched and discovered talent via SoundCloud, we have a new batch of amazing music. This 3.26 Edition features global talent but seems to grab a lot of the preferred sounds coming from the UK. London based artist such as Emmavie, Hans Island, and Ryan Ashley have subtle submissions on this weeks edition. This collection also sees home-based(US artist) talent like Abrina Music and PrestoSings reigning from San Diego. PrestoSings · This youthful singer, songwriter, and producer hails from San Diego with great vocal capability and range. The first track on this week’s edition simply because he displays a raw talent and is a crooner by nature. Someone we know we will be featuring again and again.
MarMusic · One of Netherlands’ leading vocalist is Mar. This young talent has been building quite a buzz and tracks like “Not Like Here” maintain his high-praised ability. The production adds a deep 80’s synth feel that keeps your head bopping all the way through.
The Whooligan · Also known as Julio Galvez, is a Soulection discovered producer. Here to give our ears the need vocal break, Julio delivers a uptempo, deep bass, and soulful track. This track is one example to why Soulection made the choice they have. Brilliant talent.
Jay Prince · This London-based artist is starting to become a house-hold name as he continues to deliver conscious and soulful offerings. “Polaroids” showcases Jay’s rap ability as he is joined by calming vocals and soothing production. We appreciate Jay Prince for always giving fans more than just something to listen to but also something to learn from.
Brayton Bowman · Brayton Bowman is the experimental reaction of Soul and Pop raised children. His latest release “Skin Deep” gives you a full house/pop mesh but his vocals are those of your soulful choir director who does all the unique runs and ranges from baritone to soprano. The Harlem/Philly based singer, songwrite, bluntroller has much more music coming. Stay tuned.
Emmavie · This lovely songbird, Emmavie Mbongo, reigns from London where amazing vocalist have been surfacing for the last decade. Emmavie is right on track as one of the best coming out of the UK. She gives a heart-felt anthem for women who strive to keep relationships alive. Enjoy “I Hope We Never Break Up”.
Hans Island · Duo, Hans Island, talents consist of Singer/Songwriter Marie Dahlstrom (DK) and producer Mawhs (CAN) who come together to make mystical yet marvelous music. On their upcoming self-titled debut album “Hans Island” features the track “Let Me Be”. Simply from this track we highly anticipate this debuted work.
Mariami GoGo · New York based artist Mariami GoGo is one unique talent whose music takes you to a state of euphoria. An example of this highly influential sound is her released track ‘Gates (Georgia On My Mind), which talks about her homeland Georgia (The country not the state). The very relaxed track shows true passion for this Georgia-Girl.
Ryan Ashley · London continues to show up with another great singer by the name Ryan Ashley. The two-first name artist pulls on heart strings in his song “Hands”. This song speaks on the need for that special someone to be close and near. Ryan makes it evident he has range and great writing ability with this track.
CaliCam · The name says a lot about this rapper. His name is Cam and he is from California. San Diego to be exact. This witty and rhythmic artist takes on a trippy production choice as he flows patiently. His song “Vanilla Skies” produced by Bené Quilo, is a roadtrip track while blowing “O’s” out the window. Abrina · Not saying we saved the best for last, but this up-beat track from San Diego-ian is another hit from the gorgeous and talented Abrina. The R&B/Pop singer, songwriter grabs another R&B sensation Jeremih for help on her track “Blowin”. This sexy, fun and attractive offering is one that catches ears with a contagious hook. Both artist show great range and talent but Abrina takes this track to new levels.
