• Recently Announced is the amazing collaboration between Getty Images and Instagram as they give three instagramers the chance to win $10,000 (USD)for the best collection of visuals that shine light on underrepresented communities worldwide. This initiative was developed from the groing relationship between Instagram and Getty and now has bossomed into a global opportunity that can give aspiring photographers a chance. To those interested visual vigilantes to apply you must submit 10-20 images of places or events not covered by mainstream media outlets. A panel of independent judges will make the final call, while the three winners will also receive a mentorship from one of Getty’s staff photographers, before having their work exhibited at the Photoville exhibition in New York this fall.
