• After being featured on BET‘s Being Mary Jane for her illustrious single “Piano Song“, Chicago-based singer Eryn Allen Kane has ascended as the newest classical vocalist but the young talent has patiently waited her turn as she has assisted many other’s hit records. Responsible for helping Prince with his protest record “Baltimore” and teaming with Chance The Rapper & The Social Experiment on their latest track “Surf“, Eryn is ready to premier her line-up of hits. Proudly so, Ms.Kane has debuted her spotlight grasping EP dubbed “AVIARY: Act I”.
The four-track EP surrounds listeners with tight harmony as Eryn exercises her vocal range and performs great voice control that is exhibited in classic formation once she is met with outstanding acoustic production. She floats weightless over the rhythmic bass-line and horn medley of funk record “Bass Song” but then turns around to deliver a subtle heart-felt track like “Have Mercy” which displays Eryn Allen Kane’s true vocal arrangement and capabilities. Engulfing listeners into tranquility with harmony and insightfu-lyrics, Eryn reigns over each record with the confidence of a established soul songstress and gives a glimpse to what we can look forward too.
You can stream stream Act I of her debut EP Aviary here, and it’s also available for download on iTunes. She has an expected release show on February 19 at City Winery in Chicago. Stay tune for Tickets which go on sale this Friday.
