• Arriving right on time, Gabriel Clarke decided to give rather than recieve on her birthday as she delivered her debut release. Dubbed “A Cry For Attention” this 10-track collection seems to be just a simple introduction to the who Gabriel Clarke truly is. Her lullaby vocals, hypnotizing production choice and heart-felt lyrics make for a great listen. She touches many sounds from classic R&B to Trap to Carribean vibes all in one tape. Her sound is timeless, similar to that of the late Amy Winehouse meets Dido, but maintains a soulfulness and vibrance that cannot be denied. Representing the DMV (D.C/Maryland/Virgina) area, Gabriel is making use of her city upbringing in her writing but vocally propels you to a vineyard of happiness once you hear her voice.
Even though it’s an early start for Gabriel Clarke, with guidance from our friend Paige Ogden we believe that Gabriel has a gold path ahead of her. We have claimed “Hope You Know” (No.5) as our favorite track with a dope production job and cinematic writing.
