With an all-star team of producers such as Will & Jada Pickett Smith and the debut acting performance from Rapper/Activist Meek Mill, Sony Pictures Classic’s ‘Charm City Kings‘ is an adrenaline packed action drama about Baltimore’s dirt bike culture. Award winning filmmaker Angel Manuel Soto teams with Will and Jada to create a cinematic experience that stems from Lotfy Nathan’s 12 O’Clock Boys documentary.
Charm City Kings tells the tale of Mouse (played by Jahi Di’Allo Winston), a 14 year-old who dreams to become apart of one of Baltimore’s infamous dirt bike groups dubbed Midnight Clique. Meek Mill plays Blax, the leader of the Midnight Clique, who takes Mouse under his wing and shows him what the life of a Midnight Clique rider is all about. The appeal of easy money, reckless riding and a freedom you get with a crew like this is also meet with unforeseen violence and hardships which makes Mouse have to chose which path to follow. Supporting cast members include Will Catlett, Teyonah Paris of Mad Men, Donielle Tremaine and Marvin Raheem to name a few.
