With many recent announcements revolving around the Fashion industry and the music artists fashion collaborations and executive placements, Rihanna remains the center of conversation. Her renowned Fenty x Puma collaboration continues to gain traction and their most recent rendition with new colorways have been unveiled.
PUMA introduces the Avanti rendition back in 2001, as an evolution of its disruptive Jil Sander King athletic sneaker. Most recently, the Fenty-labeled version, arrived in matte black and a reflective silver tone, paying homage to the legends that made PUMA’s football footwear notable in the 1980s, including Eusebio, Pelé and Maradona. “I wanted to bring something iconic from the archives to the street, and the late great Pelé made the Avanti shoe so iconic,” Rihanna stated.
Fenty and PUMA offers a remake of the joint silhouette in two autumn-based hues: a potent emerald and a rich navy blue. Both renditions feature premium leather uppers with a debossed gold FENTY marking and white and brown gum soles.
The Fenty x PUMA Avanti’s new colorways will drop on November 2 via PUMA’s webstore.
