For Frieze New York, contemporary artist FVCKRENDER heads to the big apple to debut his solo art show dubbed “Ascend” hosted by pop culture critic Carlo McCormick.
Ascend contributes significantly to forging forward into a new era of art and artists. The exhibit is a collection dedicated to the meshing of physical and digital artworks which are intended to make a statement for independence & evolution. The series is comprised of large-scale sculptures, original prints, and editions ranging from a
70” polyurethane chain link sculpture to 4” reinforced hydrocal plaster sculptures in editions. Adding top the experience to provide a more immersive connection to the artwork, FVCKRENDER recruits DS & Durga to provide the scent for the exhibition, aiding the immersive environment.

The Montreal artists will be offering six new artworks – Three of these are digital-only pieces, each available in a limited edition of ten, exclusively at the show. Additionally, three prints, also in limited editions of ten and each accompanied by a digital artwork, will be available for purchase online – notably all six will be available through a ranked auction.
Carlo McCormick’s Q&A with FVCKRENDER is a unique opportunity for fans to get an inside view on his parallel to the rise of a new breed of artists who echo the movement that grew out of the streets, from Jean Michel-Basquiat, Keith Haring, to KAWS. Evolving beyond his digital origins, the event is a culmination of FVCKRENDER’s continuing narrative.

Finalizing the art exhibit is the collaborated offering from Fvckrender and innovative sales platform. LISA. Known for their influence in fractional fine art sales, LISA teams with FVCKRENDER for a 4ft “Big Care” sculpture that is being made available for fractional purchase by up to 300 collectors. In addition to owning a percentage of the piece, collectors will also receive a limited-edition NFT of the sculpture and a signed, limited-edition physical print from Fvckrender.
