On September 21st, visual and digital design artists Greg Mike unveiled his new art gallery in Atlanta, Georgia with the debuting of his latest solo exhibition dubbed ‘Chapter New‘. A decade since his last solo exhibit, Greg presents a great new series that shines light on the evolution of Greg Mike and his art.
‘Chapter New’ available to the public until October 20th, is the latest staple project from the Atlanta-based artist. The series embodies Greg’s artistic evolution, where his signature characters burst with energy and movement across each piece. On a mission focused n promoting happiness and self-expression, Greg delivers those emotions through his choice of colors and forms. The full series is comprised of vibrant paintings, sculptures, limited edition prints, vinyl figures, apparel, and more.
The ABV Gallery, which once stood at a previous location in Old Fourth Ward, is now more then six times then before due to a three-year renovation. The new space spans 8,500 square feet and the massive transformation plays a crucial role in the overall exhibition, giving credence to the show name ‘Chapter New’. Along with the new showcase, the unveiling of the new location also plays into the milestone that is Greg Mike’s career and influence in the art world and to Atlanta.
It’s been a decade since my last solo show in Atlanta, making this exhibition incredibly special to me. Without a doubt, this is the most significant moment in my professional career. The fusion of all-new work, combined with the four-year journey of designing and building this new space, is going to create something truly magical. I’m always driven to create art that inspires and brings joy, and I’m excited to share that energy with the opening of this new exhibition and venue,
