This week, as January comes to an end, We bring in February with a series of the best new videos that released this week that have hit our radar. Leading the charge is the very theatrical performance from A-list movie & television star Will Smith with the help of Detroit’s own Big Sean while featuring OBanga. Dubbed “Beautiful Scars”, the visual is themed after the cult-classic action film The Matrix. This is ahead of Will Smith’s recent album announcement, marking his first in 20 years.
In the video, Big Sean presents Will Smith with the option of a Blue Pill or a Red Pill. The Blue Pill continues his life as is while the Red Pill allows him to go back and star as Neo in The Matrix; Will comedically takes both. Directed by Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah, and with products integrated from partners, Stellantis (Grand Wagoneer) & Chilli Beans Sunglasses, the rest of the video follows Will Smith and Big Sean on an adventure of karate battles, gun fights and behind the scenes footage of movie magic.
The Ball Family has been known to garner attention one way or another, and that recipe for success has continued as GELO also known as LiAngelo Ball, has released what has been claimed as the hottest record of 2025 thus far. Dubbed ‘Tweaker‘, the single has become an anthem on sports stations and has the clubs reciting the lyrics word-for-word. GELO has finally delivered the official video for the single. The high-life and lavish living is the centerpiece to the visual as GELO gives an outstanding rap performance.
Next on our list is California crooner Brian Cade with his most recent single “Hey Love“, which is the last single before his major studio album release, ‘SILK‘. Directed and Edited by Brian himself, the renowned singer has maintained a momentum of musical releases over the past year that has curated a dedicated fan base. Colombian stars Bomba Estéreo and powerhouse Venezuelan band Rawayana have joined forces to create the supergroup ASTROPICAL which created a one-song collaboration that quickly evolved into a full project; combining the worlds of astrology and tropical grooves.
Today ASTROPICAL releases their lead single “Me Pasa (Piscis)” accompanied by an official video directed by Edgar Esteves, Paola Ossa and Ana Peralta Chong. The debut single “Me Pasa (Piscis)” combines both bands devotion to tropical music, and their smooth, sophisticated approach to rhythm and dancefloor atmospherics.
Argentine star Trueno, considered one of Latin American rap and hip-hop’s most authentic and powerful voices, releases a new song, “Cruz,” featuring Feid, the Colombian singer-songwriter who currently leads the urban music movement. Through innovative lyrics, the artists merge Colombian and Argentine street slang in a story of a painful romantic betrayal, weaving through disappointment, anger and resignation.
The feature comes when Trueno and Feid are at the peak of their respective Spanish-urban subgenres, with careers that not only shine in streaming numbers and a strong social media following but also in global acclaim and peer recognition.
Returning since the release of his latest studio album ‘WHAM’, Lil Baby offers up a visual for one of the more intimate records off the project titled “So Sorry’. The Quality Control Music supported artists offers up a heartbreak story with a vivid visual attached.
