As Milan Design Week takes way, some outstanding designs and technology continues to surface and one intriguing product comes from Danish design house Band & Olufsen in collaboration with Antolini.
The tandem has offered up their latest rendition of the notable Beosound Balance speaker with the Beosound Balance Natura, all carved from natural stone. Antolini is a known Italian natural stone house, which provides the style and aesthetic of this reiteration through re-imagining home audio as sculptural art. A marbel plinth adorns the speakers body, adding a more luxurious look to the speakers.
The Natura model is sustained by a meticulously carved base designed by Antolini’s Exclusive and Precioustone Collections, featuring exquisite natural materials such as Cristallo Iceberg, Cristallo Vitrum “Wow” and petrified wood in rich, earthy tones. Subtle details are also visible such as an anodized aluminum ring seamlessly transitions from the base to the speaker. Boosting the performance is the plinth is also engineered to enhance acoustic while minimizing vibrations and allowing sound to flow naturally.
Only 16 units will be produced, customized-to-order adding a unique combination of stone and finish. Check out more details on the Bang & Olufsen website.
