On Thursday, October 30th, renowned Chai Tea house, Kolkata Chai Co., is teaming up with Gold House, one of the largest organizations supporting Asian Pacific businesses and brands, to celebrate Diwali with the community. Together, in support of their shared mission and message, the two powerhouses are presenting a new addition to the Kolkata collection with “Golden Chai“. With support from actor/producer Karan Brar, fans of chai will have a chance to visit Kolkata’s Nolita location to get free samples of the newly released Golden Chai.
The Golden Chai blends organic assum black tea with turmeric and other spices that provide it with what is described as a “uniquely Gold House flavor”. This celebratory edition of chai is not only a tasteful addition from Kolkata but also a fundraiser in support of the Gold House organization. With each 3.17 ounce bag sold, twenty-percent of the proceeds will directly go to Gold House’s initiatives to support Asian Pacific creators and companies.
This Thursday, October 30th, from 2-4PM, the cousin tandem, Ani Sanyal and Ayan Sanyal will be joined by Karan Brar (best known for his role as Chirag Gupta in the Diary of a Wimpy Kid film series and Ravi Ross in the Disney Channel shows Jessie and Bunk’d.) to provide patrons samples of the Golden Chai at their renowned Nolita location.
