Design| Piaget Opens Their Place Vendôme Paris Flagship Doors

The historic location of 16 Place Vendôme in Paris is home to the renowned Piaget boutique which has recently undergone a deep renovation and has finally unveiled the recent makeover.

Starting with the exterior, the Rafael de Cárdenas, Ltd. renovation showcases circular full length display windows with blue sodalite panels which all pays homage to the Piaget branding. The outdoors allows walking traffic to get a full view of the interior from outside of the venue. Teased are signature pieces that sit at the windows creating an instant allure and add to the decor before evening stepping inside. Once you enter the threshold, the boutique is structured like a cabinet of curiosities, featuring a series of adjoining rooms.

Patrons who enter are greeted with a radiant cabinet of virtuosity which is introduced on the ground level which showcase heritage creations that are offered before moving on to an ascending sinuous golden staircase that leads to a mezzanine. The venue space is enriched with tailor-made furniture alongside iconic design furniture. The journey continues with an asymmetrical staircase that leads patrons toward the upper levels, where a ceiling fresco inspired by malachite, created by Julien Gautier. The flagship is designed as a cultural hub for conversation and artistic exchange, echoing the spirit of the original 1959 Salon Piaget in Geneva.
