Elevated luxury has made it’s way to The Ritz-Carlton Kyoto which has recently announced the opening of the first official La Prairie SPA, making this the first hotel in Asia to exclusively house La Prairie products. The spa is a combination of Swiss craftsmanship and the refined aesthetic of Kyoto which meshes with an outstanding guest experience.
“Quiet Excellence” is the spa’s decor mantra as the spa offers guests a unique wellness experience that is steeped in innovation and tradition. The concept of elegance, beauty and the luxury of time are all apart of this spa as the interior of the La Prairie Spa plays off the hotel’s serene atmosphere. Treatments include both signature La Prairie offerings and original rituals created specifically for The Ritz-Carlton Kyoto. Signature features include the Harmonizing Stone Journey, (a 120-minute hot stone massage paired with a facial); the Bamboo Vitality Ritual, (which uses warmed bamboo sticks to release tension and restore radiance); and the Swiss Energizing Leg & Scalp Ritual, (a shorter 45-minute treatment focused on refreshing circulation and clarity).
The doors of the La Prairie Spa are expected to open April 1st, as reservation registration for a spot in the spa opens March 28th via the the hotel’s website.
