Design| Audemars Piguet Officially Open Their New Miami Beach AP House

Audemars Piguet continues to unveil their collection of newly renovated renowned AP Houses that are globally placed. The Swiss horologist brand has recently announced their second Miami location with an all new AP House nestled in the heart of Miami Beach.

This massive new space, resulting in 7,300-square-foot interior space, continues the brand’s experimental approach to retail with an immersive guest experience revolving around rhythms, sights, and sounds that define the city. To bring the design dreams to life, Audemars Piguet reached out to Miami-based design crew at Studio DADO. Together, the AP House draws deep inspiration from the brand’s historic roots in the Swiss village of Le Brassus. The lavish decor and interior touches include nviting blush tones, soft edges, and rich natural materials, including stone, wood, metals, and textured glass.

For the Miami House, guest who are granted schedule access will get to navigate the space that is fueled by a curated micro-museum showcasing the brand’s finest timepieces. Adding to the experience, is the watchmaker’s hutch where guest can deliberate with experts while browsing a selection of premium straps. Keeping with the flair and aesthetic of Miami, the venue boosts the experience with a bespoke lounge complete with a dedicated listening corner featuring a record player and hand-selected iconic vinyl albums. Rounding out the space is the active art showcasing that propels the space into a formidable gallery itself. Pieces dedicate to the space lent by Geneva’s Wilde Gallery are accompanied by sculptures by Brazilian artist Sallisa Rosa and several other contemporary art pieces.
