Bofill Taller de Arquitectura, an architecture design firm, has recently unveiled their latest project dubbed “The Veil‘ located in the mountainous coastal region of Dhërmi, Albania. The sophisticated residential resort is brilliantly placed among the forests and steep nature-based environment that embraces the units.
The resort is built to compliment the natural landscape without environmental disturbance and is maintained by the architecture team who shares their mindset of design as a “light or invisible veil” that lays over the land. The resort covers about two plots and offers a diverse collection of 366 apartments and 77 villas distributed across sixteen different variations. A systematic setup of pathways and stairs, mostly constructed of sourced stone, connects the village cohesively. The design team crafts four colorways that derive from the surrounding landscape which is meant to ensure that the color palette will keep connected to the natural settings.
