Rising Nashville folk-pop singer-songwriter Brenn!, has recently announced his debut album, AMATEUR AT BEST, alongside tour dates all surrounding his new single ‘Shiver’.
The upcoming album uses baseball imagery to reflect a year of major personal change for Brenn!, including moving away from home, going through his first breakup, and learning to live independently while continuing to develop his musicality. Throughout it all, the phrase “amateur at best” looped in his mind, ultimately becoming the perfect title for his debut album.
Leading this list of announcements is a brilliant ballad fueled by guitar strums and the vivid vocals of Brenn!. The track explores the lingering ache of wanting emotional freedom from an ex he can’t quite escape, unfolding with a quiet inevitability, like the changing of the seasons.
