Jonathan Anderson has established an international reputation for challenging familiar design conventions. Now, Anderson is offering an early glimpse into another chapter of that philosophy with the preview of the JW Anderson “Run Rabbit.”
Recently previewed through his personal Instagram account, the new sneaker introduces a sportier direction to the JW Anderson footwear universe. The silhouette draws inspiration from contemporary running shoes by incorporating a sculptural profile. The shoes colorway features a saturated teal-green color palette, and contrasting ochre-yellow accents. However, the most memorable element may be one of its smallest details. An orange, dice-shaped charm threaded through the laces features a running rabbit motif. This introduces a playful visual reference to the sneaker’s name.
For now, JW Anderson has yet to confirm pricing, release timing or distribution details, with further information expected to accompany the sneaker’s official launch.
