~ Following André 3000 as Jimi Hendrix in All Is By My Side, Chadwick Boseman stars as James Brown in the upcoming biopic Get On Up. The film tracks Brown’s rise from extreme poverty to becoming one of the most influential and hardworking musicians in history. The story also features Brown’s mother, played by Viola Davis, who abandoned him at age 6, along with his aunt, played by Octavia Spencer, who raised him in a brothel. Look for the film to release on August 1, 2014.
