• Nike has officially unveiled Kevin Durant’s latest signature shoes, the KD7. The KD7 colorway narrative begins with lightning, and more specifically the average temperature of a lightning strike – 35,000 degrees Fahrenheit. The KD7 35,000 Degrees colorway features a bright mango upper, volt outsole and hits of deep grey to represent the electric nature of lightning strikes. Stratospheric graphics and nods to lightning also appear on the sole and Swoosh. The “35,000 Degrees” will be available starting July 12 but you can customize a pair now on NIKEiD.
Nike Basketball celebrates Kevin Durant and the launch of the new signature KD7 with “The Baddest” campaign. Highlighted by an old-meets-new television spot, the ad honors KD and his timeless renaissance style – and features contributions from the likes of George “Iceman” Gervin, Chris Mullin, Charles Oakley, and sharp-witted comedian and civil rights activist Dick Gregory.
