• One of New Jersey’s top talents is the young stylish lyrical vocalist rapper/singer Dutchboy from the hills of Piscataway, NJ. Associated with our previous Artist Of The Week @SoundsByNova, the young producer/artist has been buzzing around releasing hit records featuring his own production and engineering. As he reaches to become a renown sound, Dutchboy has built a major buzz for himself by surrounding his sound with other successors from the Underground music industry. On that list are artist like Krs., BNJMN, Tunji Ige, and of course his musical twin NOVA. Pioneering the pivotal turn for Trap music, Dutchboy relinquishes a barrage of meaningful lyrics on just about every track he approaches. He also has mastered handling hypnotic harmony on tracks that are more melodically demanding.
His track record is full of hits like his latest break-through record dubbed “West Ting” produced by Nova and Dutchboy himself. Off-tempo hi-hats, soulful sampling and creative keys set the tone for West Ting which pays homage to that special lady from the other side of town. Raised on the East Side, it’s only tradition to be attracted to that Cali-girl from the West Side.
