• Rumors of Punk-Hop band N.E.R.D reuniting was offically confirmed this week as a slew of surprise releases, both in Fashion & Music, debuted. Headlines today surfaced around the N.E.R.D x adidas collaboration on the Hu NMD silhouette which followed the musical release of new single “Lemon” featuring bad girl Rihanna.
Hu NMD’s received a facelift as the designers at adidas teamed with fashion & music icon Pharrell Williams on a minimalistic design for the popular pair. The N.E.R.D. x Hu NMD sneakers come with a tonal black upper, as well as the words “Y.O.U.” and “N.E.R.D.” On the heel tab of these exclusives features the band’s Shepard Fairey- brain logo stamped on the back. These editions are set to release at ComplexCon (Nov 4-5) at the adidas display.
Accompanying the adidas x N.E.R.D sneaker release is the musical reunion of the renown band with the help of Barbados born R&B Fashion Queen Rihanna, for their debut single “Lemon“. Available everywhere, the musical tandem joins together for a uptempo visual. This dance based video is all about great energy & freedom of expression. N.E.R.D has returned delivering their traditional feel-good, synergistic sounds we all have grown to love & miss.
