With the highly anticipated return of in=person showcases, Milan Fashion Week took the Italian city by storm adorning the streets with fragments of fashionable colors and designs.
Spring/Summer 2022 collections were presented at this year’s Milan Fashion Week and the star studded events commenced. Extravaganzas such as Boss‘ afternoon of fashion and baseball at the Kennedy Sport Center to the launch of Gucci Vault. Additional activities included the most talked-about collaboration which saw Donatella Versace and Silvia Venturini Fendi who swapped roles to merge Fendi x Versace for a FENDACE collaboration. Kim Jones joined Venturini Fendi to design VERSACE BY FENDI and vice versa, FENDI BY VERSACE by Donatella.
The Pre-pandemic ambiance was set on celebration and relaxation as participants strolled the Milan streets in grasping patterns and vibrant colorways. The silhouette choices noticed on the street mimicked that of the hosted designers with a lot more casual appeal attached. Menswear was partial to relaxed tailoring in slouchy, oversized coats. Audacious patterns and prints debuted several times as we spotted tiger prints meshed with Louis Vuitton’s emblematic patterns help set the stage for very diverse looks. Brands such as Bottega Veneta – are spotted several times on both men and women in the form of accessories and apparel. Loafers appeared to be making a comeback to the streets of Milan, a classic ode to Italian leather craftsmanship.
