Renowned UK-based fashion powerhouse, C.P. Company, freshly launched their experimental offering debuting a new series of laboratory trials committed to countering environmental costs. The design attempts aim to rid waste eliminations, shorten the production chain and promote circular manufacturing methods. With two leading elements, the first series of the SS23 capsule, SEED 1, looks at locally-grown fibers such as nettle and hemp to enhance sportswear products. Also, the brand goes further into their design approach by meshing the fibers with cotton for structured pieces like hoodies and t-shirts.
The next series, SEED 2, revolves around the brand’s Eco-Chrome fabrics, which are produced from recycled nylon fishing nets that in turn produce a offering of utilitarian jackets, hoodies, crewneck sweaters and t-shirts. Both SEED 1 or 2, in the collection are washed in shades of slate gray and faded orange with light graphic detailing.
Ranging in price from $190 USD to $1,525 USD, C.P. Company’s SS23 SEED collection is available now online.
