Andre 3000, a notable partner of the iconic duo Outkast, has just announced that after 17 years, he has decided to release an album dubbed “New Blue Sun“.
What is labeled as a fully instrumental album, which secures this promise with a “no bars” plastered on the packaging. The Atlanta native is renowned for his amazing lyrics and uniquely grasping vocals but what many have yet to enjoy is Andre’s woodwork (pause). Over the years, Andre has been spotted around the globe with his beloved flute, which will be the leading feature instrument in the upcoming project.
“I’ve been interested in winds for a long time, so it was just a natural progression for me to go into flutes,” André explained in a statement. “I just like messing with instruments and I gravitated mostly toward wind.”

Adding to the appeal of the surprise release are the guest features such as Carlos Niño on bells, chimes, cymbals, drums, gongs, plants and percussion; Nate Mercereau on guitar, guitar synth, and live sampling; and Surya Botofasina on keyboards and synthesizers.
