As the last entry in a three-part series, Hodinkee unveils their latest collaboration with renowned watch-designer G-Shock for their Ref. 5600 reiteration. The special limited-edition release highlights the partnership between G-Shock and Hodinkee and places suggestive notes throughout the design.
Dubbed the Ref.5600, this iteration is modeled after the DW-5600 but adorned in the Hodinkee signature gray hue. Providing some color contrast, the watch strap arrives in a dark gray and the keeper is in an olive green. Branding odes appear such as the replacement of the notable “CASIO” logo with the detail lettering of “NYC TYO ATL”. The abbreviated cities are symbolic for the city locations of “New York” and “Atlanta” which highlights Hodinkee’s office locations, while the “TYO” pays homage to G-Shock headquarters in Tokyo.
