Footwear| Stussy Re-Imagines Converse Chuck 70 In New Release

Popular streetwear brand Stüssy has teamed up with Converse for two new custom renditions of the renowned Chuck 70.

The suede inspired designs presented by Stüssy, are both adorned with a fuzzy suede upper and classic bottom finish. The Chuck 70 Hi is crafted in a “sky-blue” hue while the Chuck 70 OX (lows) are adorned in a “poppy red”. A black Stussy All-Star logo is placed at the ankle of the Chuck 70 Hi, showcasing the shared branding with Converse. For the Chuck 70 OX, the more known star emblem overruns the hairy suede design. The tongue tags for both pair capture the Stüssy All-Star branding along with the insole of the shoe. The heel space is utilized to pay homage to Converse with their original branding placed. The outsole main feature in the dark brown rubber that replaces the more known gum bottom.

With a retail price tag of $100 for the Chuck 70 OX and $110 for the Chuck 70 Hi’s, the Stüssy x Converse Chuck 70 Hi “Sky Blue” and Chuck 70 OX in “Poppy Red” are set to release on March 8 via Stüssy’s online and brick-and-mortar stores.
