Dodge‘s renowned Charger is getting an all-electric makeover with a series of renditions that muscle car enthusiasts have all come to love. Newly electrified designed include the Charger Daytona, Daytona Scat Pack and Daytona R/T, marking the first time in history of a fleet of muscle cars going all electric.
A very popular edition to receive this electric facelift is the Daytona Scat Pack, which garners new features such as an impressive 670 hp, expected to sprint from 0-60 mph in just 3.3 seconds. The Scat Pack maintains its sleek design but now has technological advancements as well as performance updates. Following the Scat Pack is the less intense Daytona R/T that provides a robust 496 horsepower.
Rounding off the collection is the renowned Dodge Charger Daytona which host the most significant set of features like patent-pending Fratzonic Chambered Exhaust, which delivers Hellcat levels of sound intensity. Adding to the feature list is also the patent-pending front “R-Wing” pass-through, designed to provide added downforce.
With the ALL-Electric designs being highlighted, it’s important to also acknowledge the Dodge’s new gas-powered options as well. These additional options include two “SIXPACK” models, powered by the 3.0L Twin Turbo Hurricane engine, offering a choice between the high-output 550 hp SIXPACK H.O. and the 420 hp SIXPACK S.O. iterations.
“The electrified 2024 Dodge Charger Daytona Scat Pack delivers Charger Hellcat Redeye levels of performance and announces its presence through the world’s first Fratzonic Chambered Exhaust, while Hurricane engine-powered Dodge Charger SIXPACK models will give the Brotherhood of Muscle a gas option that produces better horsepower and torque numbers than the outgoing 5.7- and 6.4-liter HEMI engines,”
“The next generation of Dodge muscle has arrived.”
said Tim Kuniskis, CEO of Dodge
The new series of Dodge muscle cars are expected to begin production mid-2024 and early 2025.
