With warmer weather approaching, Summer weddings are an expected activity that Jacquemus has re-imagined through a luxurious lens. Taking from his own experience as designer Simon Porte Jacquemus said “I Do” in Charleval village of South of France in 2022, the new collection is a reminiscing series for Jacquemus. The collection is fueled by brand signature pieces infused with a France-inspired aesthetic.
The fashion designer produces the collection in the spirit of summer weddings by offering the ‘Le Mariage‘ capsule series. The collection debuts pieces for the ultimate wedding party as the campaign highlights bold, solid colors such as the bridesmaids who are adorned in a vibrant orange-reds while guests are draped in bright blues and yellows and even deep greens. Jacquemus even presents wedding accessories like oversized sun hats and sheer material pieces.
“I wanted to be quite solemn, very classic and at the same time have this piece of a veil in my pocket. I found it poetic, and it sent a nice message, bringing some fragility and some femininity…I liked the cliché side.”
