With already 40 million views across social media, 21-year old singer/songwriter, Cameron Whitcomb is finally making his Atlantic Records debut. Utilizing his most recently viral record, Cameron offers fans the heart-tugging song ‘Rocking Chair’ along with a ‘Behind The Song’ video explaining the significance of the song.
“I wrote this song about being an atheist hoping heaven exists so the people you’ve lost are still around in some way,”; “In particular, I wrote this song about wondering where my grandpa went after he passed.”
says Cameron Whitcomb.
The Nanaimo, British-Columbia native brings a unique perspective to songwriting and delivers this fan favorite with that same eclectic approach. Curating lyrics based from his own life experiences, Cameron offers a glimpse into the complexities of his life and the darker aspects of human experiences, inviting audiences to connect with the more profound, often unspoken realities. ‘Rocking Chair’ which accrued over 40 million views from social media like TikTok and Instagram reels, is a great example of Whitcomb’s writing ability and his profound intent to share true feelings and experiences.
Adding to the release and BTS video, Cameron Whitcomb is also gearing up for a Canada based summer tour.
