Vancouver-based design label Reigning Champ, is at the top of their game when delivering outstanding streetwear that tends to elevate the standards and push the design needle. With a department dedicated to creating brilliant products through thoughtful collaborations, RC returns with their latest collaborative capsule dubbed “Japan Indigo Series“.
Teaming up with a renowned denim manufacturer based out of Japan, Reigning Champ presents a six-piece project all presented via lookbook with the help of New York City’s oldest (and still in-the-game) stickball team, the Bronx Royals. Utilizing the specialized denim from Japan’s denim capital of Fukuyama, Hiroshima, RC delivers their vision on a handful of vintage baseball jerseys and accessories.
From Hiroshima prefecture to a New York borough, our campaign and film give a glimpse of what goes down at the intersection of Seward Avenue and Stickball Boulevard, … This is a place where the game’s rich heritage is kept alive and well on the streets of the South Bronx.”
