Atlantic Records rising alt-pop sound has arrived with the talented Daniel Seavey who is a multi-platinum singer/songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer. Etching out his sound and image in this industry, Daniel delivers an irresistible new single dubbed “Gateway Drug“.
Fresh from his debut festival headline performance at Lollapalooza and currently on a US tour with Benson Boone, Daniel decided to release this grasping new single. The song marks the third collaboration with renowned writer/producer Michael Pollack, continuing to pull from his ultimate early-aughts pop-rock inspirations. With fans already having learned the lyrics along his shows supporting Benson Boone, “Gateway Drug” continues an exciting run of releases off Seavey’s forthcoming debut solo album.
‘Gateway Drug’ showcases Daniel’s writing ability, which he utilizes so well in making this catchy record. Metaphorically, Seavey connects the dots of struggling love to that of an addiction.
