Renowned for their leather goods and designs, Au Départ has unveiled their latest boutique located at the heart of Paris. As a pivotal piece of France’s leather good story for over two centuries, this newly designed flagship location is a instrumental moment for the brand.
Stationed at the prestigious Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré, the boutique is now home in a lavish neighborhood maintaining the brand’s aesthetic and history. Surrounded by Parisian haute couture and mere steps from the Palais Garnier, the boutique is a modern touch to such a historical area. The renovations for the boutique tell this story of rich history and contemporary charm. Simplistic touches such as the raw concrete walls which contrast the many marble surfaces. Brass is used to create a warming touch as a n added feature.
Patrons get to explore Au Départ’s signature collection of leather bags and accessories across two floors. The first floor, is dedicated to the brand’s signature series previewing heritage pieces while the second floor features the Au Départ Art Collective, which is a creative hub for artistic dialogue and brainstorming.
