As the winter season approaches, Nanga has been focused on developing a range of styles dedicated to the intended temperatures. Helping with this endeavor is Japan-based brand Pilgram Surf + Supply to establish a series of equipped-for-exploration garments.
What is being described as “wearable sleeping bag,” the Nanga x Pilgrim Surf + Supply Expedition Down Parka has arrived. With a signature convertible structure, the thin puffer jacket is designed for comfort, warmth but also for easy pack-up ability. Staying true to its minimal design, the Parka pops up in four different colorways of Mocha, Olive, Black and Sudan Brown. Lightweight and packable yet still insulating, both the jacket’s shell and lining are crafted from recycled nylon ripstop. Pocketing lands on the front of the silhouette, with adjustable cuffs and an adjustable hood rounding it all out. Subtle branded hits appear on the sleeves and internal tags.
