Globally recognized singer/songwriter ROSÉ has released new single “number one girl’ marking the second single release from ROSÉ’s first studio album titled ‘rosie‘. Adding to the release, ROSÉ unveils the self-directed official music video.
‘number one girl‘ received an all-star team that co-penned this record which included names like Amy Allen, D-Mile, Omer Fedi, Carter Lang, Bruno Mars & Dylan Wiggins. This is the second record that renowned singer Bruno Mars appears on for this project, showcasing his support for ROSÉ. Their shared single “APT‘ feat. Bruno Mars, which hit #8 on the Billboard Hot 100, making ROSÉ the first female Korean artist to reach the top 10 of the charts.
ROSÉ’s angelic vocals and outstanding range presence is always at the forefront of her lasting impression, but many don’t get to see the hidden talents hosted by the global superstar. Co-directing the official video showcases ROSÉ’s more diverse abilities as she offers fans a very DIY-themed visual for this heartfelt single. A simple retro-aesthetic is a consistent filter for the visual, but the views of obscure landscapes and dim-lit backgrounds keeps the mega-star pretty grounded. Brilliantly directed, the video keeps focus on the emotions and feelings presented through the evoking lyrics and are visible only on the face of ROSÉ herself.
