Aimé Leon Dore x New Balance‘s continues the marathon in brilliant partnership releases as they celebrate their 5th anniversary of collaborations. To bring in the fifth year, the design duo is reviving its OG 997 silhouette with a new colorful arrangement. ALD and New Balance have been on a release tour since the beginning of Fall with the releases of the Aimé Leon Dore x New Balance 990v4, Aimé Leon Dore x New Balance 475 and Aimé Leon Dore x New Balance 993.
The OG 997’s, which were USA made, highlights the multicolored silhouette, defined by its mixed-material makeup, complete with suede overlays, mesh underlays, an ENCAP midsole and rubber outsole.
Ray Winstone leads a new campaign video in honor of the release, honing in on the “love story” of a collaboration between the two brands.
