Designer Emily Adams Bode Aujla is finally taking her globally renowned fashion powerhouse and moving it’s array of delicate designs to Paris. Opening their first ever location outside the US, is BODE‘s newest flagship location homed at the heart of the French capital’s rue de Valois.
Filling this massive, 2,500-square-foot outpost with some of BODE’s best in collection, this venue space which once played as a restaurant, has now been renovated into a luxurious store front for the fashion home. With BODE already retailing from four locations including New York and Los Angeles, BODE owner thought it would be paramount to place the brand globally and what place is better then Paris. Emily stated “Going into a new market, we really wanted to be able to have it all together under one base”.
As Emily is the fashion design specialist, her husband Aaron Aujla, who runs his own design firm, Green River Project, led the design of the new flagship. The interior concept was inspired by the couple’s shared love for fly fishing, which is notably highlighted with featured assets like bamboo fishing rod at the entrance and the lures that act as wall coverings.
“We have enough of a footing through our retail partners overseas that we know that there’s interest,” … “I’m a firm believer in retail and what that can do for business. The best expression of the brand is our retail environments — the sights, the smells, the way it’s decorated, the way it’s merchandised, the way our staff wears it.”
Bode said of the brand’s international retail expansion
