Music| NATHY PELUSO Delivers A News Single Alongside Announcing New EP “MALPORTADA”

Boundary-pushing Argentine artist Nathy Peluso has announced her new salsa EP ‘Malportada.’ and amplifies the announcement with the ep-tilted ‘Malportada‘ single release featuring Rawayana.

The song “Malportada” was composed in Puerto Rico where it gained it’s co-writting and co-production from Manuel Lara, Servando Primera and Rawayana’s Beto Montenegro. The Latin-Grammy nominated talent delivers an exciting new single ahead of the EP, providing a listen into the salsa inspired project giving fans what they have been waiting for from Nathy. Traditionally, salsa has depicted femininity from a romantic, melancholic, or dreamy perspective, but with her approach, Nathy aims to reclaim the strength and defiant attitude that have historically shaped the male-driven narrative, making it entirely her own. Since the beginning of her career, Nathy has seamlessly incorporated salsa into her sonic universe with authenticity and mastery. Her partnership with Rawayana’s Beto help make the natural sound of salsa a seamless effort when sharing the studio to create. Nathy shared the following about the experience:

Beto has that timeless voice and the carefree swagger of a classic salsero, without making any effort,” … “Straight from Venezuela, one of the most beautiful cradles of salsa that I love so much. Beto is the mischievous one, with a good heart and good lyrics—the perfect partner to sing with and lose all composure.”

Nathy stated

Nathy Peluso’s new EP “Malportada” is expected to release Thursday, October 16th on all platforms and is just ahead of her short-list tour starting October 18th in Guanajuato, Mexico.
