The most respected Technology and Innovation festival known as CES is taking place and this year’s innovation showcases have been extremely exciting and fueled by modern tech and detailed design choices. One special release was by Twelve South who focused on upscale decor meeting useful technology for everyday use.
Twelve South unveil the new “Valet” which is a wireless charging tray that is adorned in Nappa leather that boosts decor and design while presenting new home-based technology. Meshing functionality, detail to design and modern technology, the Valet blends your nightstand, desk, and other existing furniture into one piece. This simple addition to the home-care collection is meant to help reduce clutter in your home life and adding a touch of upscale furniture to the environment. The design’s notes include the body of the device is made of a weighted zinc alloy and is offered in either black or taupe leather choices. Added features include an interchangeable outer frame that’s easily removed with four color options: two that match the main body, alongside brown or ecru. On the surface of the tray is a super-fast Qi2-certified wireless charger that produces up to 15W of power to compatible smartphones. Aiding the power support is a hidden USB-C port underneath that allows a second device.
Pre-orders are open now in the U.S. via the brand’s website, priced at $179.99 USD, with shipping from January 15. International availability will follow later this year.
