The New York based design powerhouse, unveils their Lunar New Year capsule collection celebrating The Year of the Horse which is notable throughout the whole range. This year’s theme of “forward motion” is vividly displayed throughout the capsule as the spirited nature of the Horse is visibly adorned on the entire collection.
The feature apparel pieces included the Kith silhouetted Williams III Hoodie and the Nelson Crewneck, both fitted with horse-themed graphics and traditional Chinese-typography. Added to this are major pieces such as the pocket tees and long-sleeve shirts that utilize puff-print techniques and floral motifs. Going beyond clothing for this release, Kith introduced a bespoke Saffiano leather Mahjong set and a gold-foil embossed red envelope set. Each of these hold a deep meaning, symbolizing the gifting of good fortune during this holiday season. Looking close at the customized Mahjong set, you will notice precision wind dice, a wooden holder and multicolor chips, all carried in a gold Kith Monogram Saffiano leather case.
For the “Treats” portion in this release, Kith launched a limited timed culinary offering that reflects on the traditional flavors during this celebration. Apart of the release, it is the Year of the Horse vanilla ice cream swirl inspired by traditional desserts, often incorporating elements like almond cookies, red bean, or festive fruits.
